SELANGOR: The Association of Financial Advisers (AFA) would like to inform you that Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) has approved FA Industry Balanced Score Card (BSC) guidelines in January 2017 and would like to inform all Association of Financial Advisers’ members that the BSC will be strictly implemented starting on 1 January 2018.
SELANGOR: The Association of Financial Advisers (AFA) would like to inform all members once again that Bank Negara Malaysia(BNM) has approved their official Service Guide for the Financial Adviser Industry. The latest version of the Service Guide has been uploaded and made available on AFA’s Website.
SELANGOR: The Association of Financial Advisers (AFA) has been informed by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) that the final version of the Balanced Score Card (BSC) has been approved, which will be implemented starting from 1st January 2018. All Financial Advisers/Planners are advised to read up and commence a trial run starting from 1st January 2017 before the actual implementation date.
SELANGOR: The Association of Financial Advisers (AFA) has been officially informed by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) that a number of Financial Adviser Representatives (FAR) have been found still to be tied as an insurance agent, in particular, with general insurance companies. BNM has reminded the Association that FARs are strictly not allow to become, or remain, as an insurance agent. AFA would like to urge all FA firms to ensure that their FARs to resign from their insurance agencies as soon as they are appointed by their firm.
